Darling is a dark comedy about the arrogant and seemingly indifferent young upper class woman Eva, who engages in a banal infidelity affair. This incident will turn out to be the starting point of a slow but relentless descent down the social ladder allowing the unexpected but doomed friendship with Bernhard, a good-hearted, unemployed 61 year-old engineer.
